Information the app processes
We process your Shopify store domain and identifiers, installation and authentication information, staff account identifiers and available names and email addresses, product information, blog content, brand settings, content instructions, uploaded or generated images, generation history, scheduling settings, subscription status, usage records, and support messages. These records support your store workspace and its operation.
The app does not request Shopify customer or order API access. Do not include private customer information or sensitive personal information in prompts, knowledge sources, or support messages.
How information is used and shared
We use information to authenticate store access, generate and edit content, publish or schedule blog posts, enforce plan limits, troubleshoot errors, and respond to support and privacy requests.
Content instructions and relevant brand, product, and source material are sent to OpenAI to generate text or images. Shopify processes installation, authorized store operations, and subscription payments. Amazon Web Services provides hosting and database infrastructure. These services may process information outside your country. Payment card details are handled by Shopify rather than this app.
Retention and removal
Workspace information is retained to provide the app while it is installed. Uninstallation revokes the app's session access. When Shopify sends its shop data deletion webhook, the app removes the store's application records and retained queue jobs. Content already published to your Shopify store remains under your control. Infrastructure backups may retain earlier copies until their backup lifecycle ends.
Your choices
You can edit your workspace content, change app settings, manage your subscription through Shopify, and uninstall the app from Shopify admin. To request access, correction, or deletion of information we hold, email admin@dtcup.com with your store domain. We may need to verify that you are authorized to act for the store.
Security and policy updates
The app uses HTTPS, Shopify authentication, and store-specific access checks. No system can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as the service changes; the effective date above identifies the current version.
